Description

The soft tissue around restorations is vital for longterm oral health and that of the individual tooth. Whether iatrogenic or material induced, alterations around this tissues occasionally come up in day to day clinical management. By exploring the nature of these tissue and the pathologies thereof, this talk will look at ways to minimize complications as well as manage conditions around soft tissues adjacent to restorations.

Objectives

1. review the anatomy of soft tissue around restorations. 2. give an overview of iatrogenic problems affecting soft tissues around restorations. 3. Describe management of the soft tissue around restorations.
