    Mr. Kisienya is a Kisienya is a Research Scientist at KEMRI who is currently involved in bioethics research specifically in research regulation, data sharing and human specimen use for research. Additionally, he is also working on E. coli antimicrobial resistance and malacology of schistosomiasis.

    Ms. Cheruiyot holds a Bachelor of science in Nursing from University of San Carlos, Cebu Philippines and is a registered Nurse by Kenya Nursing council. She holds a certificate in Research Methodology and currently undertaking, Masters in International Health Research Ethics.

  4. Miss DAISY MUDEGU
    Ms. Daisy Kadenyi Mudegu works at the KEMRI Scientific and Ethics Review Unit (SERU) as a Compliance Officer for, the Centre for Traditional Medicine Research (CTMDR), Centre for Biotechnology Research (CBRD) and the Eastern and Southern Africa Centre of International Parasite Control (ESACIPAC).

  5. Mr. ENOCK KEBENEI
    Mr. Kebenei is the Head of the Scientific and Ethics Review Unit (SERU) and a Senior Research Scientist at the Kenya Medical Research Institute. He is currently pursuing PhD (Research Ethics & Integrity) at the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands. Mr. Kebenei holds a BSC and MSc Degree in Health Information Management from Moi University and Kenyatta University respectively. He has trained in Bioethics, Biosafety, Clinical Trials Authorization, Research Integrity, Monitoring and Evaluation, Leadership & Management in Health.

  6. Miss JUDY NGURE
    Ms. Ngure is a Research Scientist at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) Scientific and Ethics Review Unit (SERU). She is currently serving as a Compliance officer for all Non-Kemri Institutions and part of the SERU training. Over the years. Judy has had the privilege of contributing to SERU’s mandate of research regulation as a committee member where we review protocols to ensure they are scientifically and ethically sound.

  7. Mr. GEOFFREY SANG
    Mr. Sang is a Research Scientist based at the Scientifics and Ethics Review Unit at the Kenya Medical Research Institute. Geoffrey believes in hard work, dedication and teamwork, values which have made him be the Units key support in planning and logistics. He is a member of KEMRI Research Ethics Committees (REC) and also serves as the Unit’s Quality Assurance point person.

  9. Mr. TIMOTHY KIPKOSGEI
    Mr. Kipkosgei is Research Scientist at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI). He is currently the SERU Compliance officer for CGHR and CIPDCR and a member of committee A at SERU. Timothy obtained his Master of Science degree inInternational Health from JKUAT and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Egerton University
