Description

This activity involves a structured, collaborative meeting of oncology specialists—including oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, surgeons, and other allied healthcare professionals—to review and discuss the diagnosis, staging, and management of cancer patients. The MDT approach ensures patient-centered, evidence-based care through shared expertise and consensus decision-making.

Objectives

By the end of this CPD activity, participants should be able to: 1. Review and interpret diagnostic findings (histopathology, imaging, and laboratory data) to guide cancer diagnosis and staging. 2. Apply current clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices in the development of individualized treatment plans. 3. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize cancer patient outcomes. 4. Identify challenges and gaps in cancer care delivery and propose solutions within the team setting. 5. Enhance documentation and communication for continuity of care across specialties.
