Description

Join us for a webinar discussing the integration of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Palliative Care (PC). We will explore how advancing access to SRH and PC is critical for achieving SDG 3 - Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages, with a focus on target 3.8 on Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Palliative care is not limited by age and is relevant throughout the life course, including for patients of reproductive age who may need to make decisions regarding their reproductive health as part of their care. Additionally, the aging population, at higher risk of chronic diseases, has unique yet often overlooked SRH information and service needs. Persons living with life-threatening illnesses have SRH needs that should be addressed, and such can be achieved while offering PC services; addressing patients’ needs holistically.

Objectives

-discuss reproductive health considerations for persons living with life-limiting illnesses.
