Crash Cart Management and Code Blue Response
Objectives
1.Describe the purpose and organization of the crash cart and identify the location and function of essential emergency equipment and medications.
2.Recognize clinical deterioration and identify the appropriate indications for activating a Code Blue response.
3.Demonstrate the correct use of crash cart equipment, including airway devices, defibrillators, suction equipment, and emergency medications.
4.Apply current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) guidelines during the management of cardiac arrest and other life-threatening emergencies.
