This will follow the model of an interview format for the panel of periodontist from across the country. They will be interviewed on a series of 10 questions covering diagnosis, treatment and patient management and post op care. It is to be interactive with a lot of discussions with view of learning as a whole.
Objectives
1. Learn some of the misconceptions and demystify diagnosis and management of periodontal diseases among dentists
2. Give guidance on best standard of practice in management of periodontal diseases
3. Examine some of the practical challenges facing the general practitioner in the diagnosis and management of periodontal diseases
4. Improve the understanding of the general practitioner on the need for planning for good periodontal health outcomes
