Description

The Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Meeting is a collaborative clinical forum that brings together healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with interstitial lung diseases. The meeting provides an opportunity for specialists to review complex cases, share clinical expertise, discuss investigations and differential diagnoses, and develop coordinated, patient-centred management plans. The MDT format promotes multidisciplinary collaboration and knowledge sharing among respiratory physicians, radiologists, pathologists, and other relevant healthcare professionals involved in ILD care.

Objectives

By the end of the meeting, participants will be able to: Review and discuss complex ILD cases through a multidisciplinary approach. Interpret and correlate clinical, radiological, and pathological findings relevant to ILD diagnosis. Improve diagnostic decision-making for patients presenting with suspected or established ILD. Discuss appropriate management and treatment strategies based on individual patient presentations and current clinical practice. Identify challenging or atypical cases requiring further investigation or specialist input. Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals involved in ILD care. Strengthen multidisciplinary approaches to the ongoing management and follow-up of patients with ILD.
