As the global population continues to age and more individuals live with Parkinson’s disease (PD), it is increasingly important for healthcare professionals, including rehabilitation specialists, to accurately recognize and assess signs of neurodegenerative disease. This session will explore traditional and contemporary diagnostic criteria for Parkinson’s disease, supportive clinical findings, medical management, and prevention strategies, with emphasis on rehabilitation and preventive care across all levels.
