Description

Early adulthood is marked by rapid transitions—leaving school, entering the workforce, navigating relationships, financial independence, identity formation, and future uncertainty. While these milestones present opportunities for growth, they are also associated with heightened stress, anxiety, mood changes, and feelings of overwhelm

Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to: Describe key developmental tasks and psychosocial stressors associated with early adulthood. Identify common manifestations of anxiety and related mental health problems in young adults. Recognize risk factors, protective factors, and red flags that warrant early intervention or referral. Discuss healthy coping strategies, resilience-building techniques, and self-care practices applicable to early adulthood.
