Description

will examine the pathophysiology, classification, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approach, and current management strategies for pulmonary hypertension. Through evidence-based discussion, clinical case reviews, and interpretation of diagnostic findings, attendees will develop a comprehensive understanding of the disease and its impact on patient outcomes.

Objectives

Define pulmonary hypertension and describe its epidemiology, burden of disease, and clinical significance. Explain the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying increased pulmonary vascular resistance and right ventricular dysfunction. Differentiate the major classifications of pulmonary hypertension according to the World Health Organization clinical grouping system. Recognize common signs, symptoms, and risk factors associated with pulmonary hypertension and identify patients requiring further evaluation.
