• Professor of Medicine at the University of Nigeria and Consultant Nephrologist and Head of Nephrology at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu. • Globally recognized nephrology leader with expertise in chronic kidney disease prevention, APOL1 kidney disease, clinical research, kidney health advocacy, and equitable access to care in low-resource settings. • Has held senior leadership roles with the International Society of Nephrology and contributed to major global initiatives including World Kidney Day, KDIGO, and H3Africa. • Fellow of several leading professional bodies, with more than 150 publications and extensive experience in clinical trials, community screening, and global kidney health awareness initiatives.
