Description
The SAFE PAEDS training program is designed to provide comprehensive education and practical skills training in paediatric anaesthesia. Participants will engage in interactive sessions covering topics such as the paediatric airway, pain management in children, safety in paediatric anaesthesia, recognition of the sick child, and other relevant modules. Through lectures, workshops, and hands-on simulations, participants will enhance their knowledge and proficiency in providing safe and effective anaesthesia care to paediatric patients.
Objectives
The objectives of the SAFE PAEDS training program are as follows:
1. To enhance participants' understanding of paediatric anaesthesia principles, including airway management, pain control, and safety protocols.
2. To develop participants' skills in assessing and managing paediatric patients undergoing anaesthesia, including recognizing and responding to potential complications.
3. To provide hands-on training opportunities for participants to practice critical procedures and techniques in a simulated environment.
4. To promote interdisciplinary collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals involved in paediatric anaesthesia care.
5. To equip participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to ensure the safe delivery of anaesthesia to paediatric patients in various clinical settings.
