Description
Highly effective and safe vaccines exist to prevent HPV infection and reduce the risk of cervical cancer. However, uptake of the HPV vaccine in LMICs remains low. In 2022, 26 percent of eligible girls in Kenya had received a dose of the HPV vaccine. WHO Response 90% of girls vaccinated with the HPV vaccine by age 15. 70% of women screened with a high-quality test by ages 35 and 45. 90% of women with cervical disease receiving treatment
