Description
Since creation, spirituality and religion have been integral components in the life of man. Similarly, spirituality and religion have been employed for diverse reasons, including healing. In the recent past, healthcare providers have acknowledged the importance of incorporating a holistic approach in healthcare settings as a way of addressing all the needs of a patient. Medical experts and healers have become increasingly aware of the importance of integrating spirituality and religion as part of the holistic care model in medical practice.
