Description

As dental amalgam fades into the past, emerging restorative materials: Glass hybrids and the short fiber resin composite offer suitable properties for stress-bearing moderate to large class II cavities.

Objectives

Objectives of this workshop are to; 1. Understand the unique properties brought on board by each of the two materials. 2. Manipulate: · The glass hybrid Equia Forte HT to yield quality restorations. · The short-fiber resin composite, the socioeconomic alternative for large restorations that bio-emulate dentine. 3. Learn how you can embrace cost effective user friendly approaches. 4. Utilise a NOVEL circumferential Quick connect matrix system (Rhondium) for the large cavities where sectional matrices pose a monumental challenge.
