This month on our paediatric palliative care webinar series, we focus on Neonatal Palliative Care. We explore optimal care approaches for neonates with palliative care needs.

1. Dr. Phanice Okara
   Dr. Phanice Okara is a Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatrician in Private Practice. She completed her undergraduate in 2008 and Postgraduate Paediatrics training in 2015 at The University of Nairobi. In 2017 she started her Neonatal Fellowship journey when she joined Imperial College Healthcare, 2018 joined Barts Health worked in NICU and London Neonatal Transfer Services. In 2020, she joined University of British Columbia to continue her Neonatal training. She’s had the opportunity to work in different scenarios and engage with different families and communities throughout her career. She has a special interest in Neonatal Transport and Perinatal Palliative Care.
