Objectives
1.Identify the case definitions for suspected, probable, and confirmed EVD cases and apply them in clinical practice.
2.Differentiate EVD from other common causes of acute febrile illness, including malaria, typhoid fever, viral haemorrhagic fevers, and sepsis.
3.Conduct appropriate clinical assessment, triage, and risk stratification of patients with suspected EVD.
4.Implement evidence-based infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, including appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), isolation procedures, and environmental decontamination.
